II was born in Los Angeles, California, and was raised in both Los Angeles and Sacramento, California. I hold a BA in Psychology from Whitman College in 1980.  At Whitman I took an art history class, which planted artistic seeds that began to sprout a few years later, when I realized I had to create art.

I have now been an artist for over 25 years and live in the Suisun Valley in Northern California. I have previously worked in the mediums of abstract painting, casting resin sculpture, and “painting with light” night photography. My primary mediums currently are fused glass and abstract painting. I make fused glass into both jewelry and glass pieces mounted in shadow boxes.

My glass shadow boxes are available at North Bay Gallery, Yountville, CA and Sonoma, CA. I also exhibit jewelry, shadow boxes, paintings, and other artwork at Lawler House Gallery in Suisun City, CA.
